Do and Don’ts

When using an inverter it is important be aware of the following:

• The plug-ins should not exceed the inverters output voltage.
• Test your fluorescent lamps before continuous use with an inverter. Some lamps do not operate as they should. Take note if the light: illuminates too bright or does not lit up at all. 
• Caution should be taken when charging nickel-cadmium batteries. They might be susceptible to damage when used with inverters, e.g flashlights, certain batteries for hand tools etc.
